Services held at Carver Park Baptist Church; 1020 E. Herring Ave, Waco, Texas 76704 on August 18, 2018 at 11:00 A.M.

Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery.

Visitation is from 5:00 pm -7:00 pm, Friday, August 17, 2018 at McDowell Funeral Home.

Fred “Ricky” is survived by his wife, Sharon Jo Ann Chatham Reed; two daughters, Cokie JoFreda Reed of Waco, Whitney Pauline Walker Blocker (Montrius) of Euless, Texas; one son, Kefa Chatham (Candy) of Arlington, Texas; four sisters, Carolyn Fletcher, Charlene Jones, Stephanie Shephard (Jerry) and Carla Hall all of Waco; two brothers; Jim D. Reed “Big Jack” (Lucy Mae) of Waco and Billy J. Reed (Dianna) of Philadelphia. one Uncle; Oscar Allen and one aunt:Mattie Allen-Willis (Eddy) of Dallas, Texas.
