Thomas Jones

Thomas E. Jones was born April 28, 1950, to Johnny T. Jones and Margaret D. Bryant in Riesel, Texas. He was the oldest of five sons.

He was educated at Riesel High School where he graduated with Honors.

He worked for General Tire for nine years, Texas Concrete for five years, and Walmart until his health failed.

Thomas was a dedicated husband, loving father, and grandfather.

He was a faithful member and deacon of Springhill U.M.C. until his health failed.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother.

He leaves to cherish: his loving wife of 15 years, Alice Degrate; his children, Tommy Jr., Cynthia Collins (Kenny), Danny Davis, Yolanda Davis, Eddie Jones (Sherine); Chuckie (Sharon) and Tomeka Womack (Keith); his brothers, William Humphrey, Reverend Joe Humphrey (Kathy), Theodore Humphrey (Monica) and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
