Sylvester Washington

Sylvester Damont Washington-Langrum was born on June 20, 1976, in Waco, Texas to Darlene Washington and Andre Langrum. 

Damont was educated in the LaVega Independent School District and he graduated in 1994. 

Damont was a dedicated employee at Mars Wrigley for 23 years until the time of his passing.

He enjoyed watching Football (Philadelphia Eagles) and Basketball. His greatest passion was for cars and he founded the Texas Royalty Car Club in 2014. He loved to raise money for any just cause with his prestigious car shows.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sylvester and Johnnie Mae Washington. 

He leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Darlene Washington (Tim); father, Andre Langrum (Dena); a devoted partner, Tasha Ford; daughters, Danielle Washington (Keevon, Angel, Aaranique,  Aaking), Deandre Washington (Jocelyn, Simone), Destini Washington (Ar’mari, Ameir), Diamond Washington, and Chelsea Washington; brothers, Roscoe Graves, Sammy Graves, Will Hines, Andre Langrum Jr., Corey Langrum and Ricky Langrum, loving grandmother, Aicole Thompson; devoted friends, Robert Turner, Tony Garcia and Michael Anderson along with a host of family and friends.
