Sharon “Cindy” Hurth Sharp was born November 13, 1957 to Willie T. Hurth Sr. and Ruthie B. Davis.
Sharon accepted Christ at an early age at St. Mary’s Baptist Church. Later in life, she joined Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and was a faithful member until her health failed her.
She attended and graduated from Mart High School.
In 2015, she married Gary Lee Sharp.
Sharon worked and retired from Cargill in Waco, Texas after 30 years of service. Later she went on to work for Texas Youth Corrections (TYC) in Mart for 7 years until she became ill.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Willie T. Hurth Jr. and Allen T. Hurth; aunts, Verda Brown and Ruby Bridgewater; uncles, Robert Davis, L.B. Davis, Arlee Davis, Walter Davis, and Smith Davis.
She leaves to cherish: her loving husband, Gary Sharp of Mart, Texas; daughter, Jasmine Hurth (J.J. Medlock) of Waco, Texas; sons, Weldon Hurth (Bethany) of Waco, Texas and Gavin Hurth (Tamesha) of Mesquite, Texas; 11 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; sisters, Beverly Calloway (Danny) of Cedar Hill, Texas, Hazel Hurth of Rowlett, Texas, Diane Green of Arlington, Texas and Brenda Hurth of Arlington, Texas; brothers, David Hurth (Dianna) of California and John Hurth (Shaneka) of Lorena, Texas; aunts, Syleta Davis of Utah and Nellie Davis of Dallas, Texas; uncle, Thomas Davis (Paula) of California; sisters-in-law; Joyce Brummer Hurth, Sandra Hurth, Oneida Sharp and Zelma Davis all of Mart, Texas; brothers-in-law, Shelton Sharp of Mart, Texas, Henry Sharp of Houston, Texas, and Roger Sharp of Dallas, Texas; special friends, Bonnie Pendleton, Sandrea McKenzie, Colleen Lewis, Florrie Sharp, Besty Trim, Vera Brown and Stacy Barrett; and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
