Ronald Wayne Caruthers was born on November 15, 1959, in Elm Mott, Texas to Willie B. Caruthers and Zelma Lee Danforth Caruthers.
He received Christ at an early age in his life at Greater Bosqueville Baptist Church.
He worked at two apartment complexes. His desire was to be a truck driver like his father. He worked for different trucking companies. Due to his health, he retired at the age of 60. He drove until about nine months before his demise.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Zelma Caruthers, his paternal grandparents, Fred Caruthers and Susie Alexander Caruthers; his maternal grandparents, Elroy Danforth and Estelle Alexander Danforth; two brothers, one sister and two children.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his brothers, Willie Caruthers and James Caruthers both of Waco, Texas; sister, Wanda Caruthers Galbert (Roger) of Waco, Texas; childhood sweetheart, Alberta Jones of Waco, Texas; two daughters, Angela Jones and Patricia Jones both of Waco, Texas; two sons, Ronald Jones and Daniel Jones both of Waco, Texas; 14 grandchildren, his ex-wife, Sherry Montgomery Caruthers; his stepchildren, and a loving host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
