Patricia Degrate

Patricia Ann Degrate was born to Conilous Gray and Lessie Gray on January 3, 1938.

She accepted Christ as her personal savior at an early age and united with Hood Street Church of Christ.

Patricia attached A.J. Moore High School and graduated in May of 1957.

She worked in Baylor in Penland Hall for a long period of time. She worked as a cook for meals of wheels.

She met Bennie Lee Miles at an early age and to the union, two children were born. Later she met James Degrate and married and one child was born.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Buck and Lessie Gray; sister, Laura Scott; daughter, Cynthia Miles; step-son, Robert Degrate and grandson, Reginal Jermaine Howard.

She leaves to cherish: one son, Bennie Lee Miles (Jackie); one daughter, Lauietta Degrate Joseph (Perry); two grandchildren, Patricia Jewell Ballard and Jerome Lewis Touchstone II; two grandchildren by her deceased daughter, Anthony Howard and Jamaetha Robinson and one deceased grandson, Reginald Jamar Howard; other loving grand and great grandchildren; very devoted family members,  Magaline Whitley, Clarence and Betty Degrate and dear friend Wanda Sue Webb.
