Linda Philpott Curry was a loving mother, wonderful grandmother and great grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this life suddenly on August 22, 2021, at the age of 58.
She was born to Loressa Philpott Hollie and Larcey Martin on August 23, 1962, in Waco, Texas. After attending schools in Waco, she accomplished her professional goals of becoming a Medication Technician and Supervisor at Meadow Lane Assisted Living and Memory Care Center where she worked for many years.
Linda was an avid reader. She loved to find a quiet spot and read romance novels but she was fascinated with medical journals and other books. The simple pleasures of life such as talking with family and friends and having fun with her grandchildren brought joy to her life. Linda was fun-loving and liked to keep everyone laughing with her great sense of humor.
Linda enjoyed life to the fullest and was dearly loved by her family. She was married to Robert Curry and they resided in Los Angeles California for a while.
Linda leaves to forever cherish her memory the following family: daughter, LaKisha Philpott; son, Patrick Philpott; granddaughter, Amir Edwards; grandsons, Elijah Curry and Cameron Ward; great-grandsons, Davion Mitchell and De’Eric Mitchell all of Waco Texas; sisters, Daphne Diles of Waco, Texas; Terri Lynn Hollie Coleman of Houston, Texas; and Janra Hollie Powell of Bixby Oklahoma; brothers, Ronald Wayne Philpott, Kenneth Philpott and Richard Hollie all of Waco, Texas; and Jeffery Blane Hollie of Austin, Texas and a host of cousins, aunts, uncles nephews, and nieces.
