La'Fairreya Taylor

La’Fairreya Linda Faye Taylor Sumpter known as “LaLa” was born on October 12, 2003 to Tameka and Tyrone Sumpter.

She attended Mt. Caramel where she gave her life to Christ at an early age.

She attended and gradated from Waco High School. She was a member of the Junior Waco Police Academy. She received her certificate from Junior Waco Police Academy.

Shortly after high school, La'Fairreya welcomed her shining star Messiah Sumpter into the world.

She was a young woman with many talents and hobbies but her main hobbies were either being with her family or the “Get Live” trail ride group. She was not only known for her antics, but she was most definitely loved by many. It didn’t matter if you knew her for years or just for a few moments she always left you with an expression on your face just by her silly jokes, gesture or her big bright beautiful smile.

She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Linda Faye Williams and Leda Fay Taylor; her grandfather, Carl Sumpter, Sr.; two great aunts, Rosetta “Big Mama” Houston and Claudia Bogans, bonus grandmother, Charlottie Woods and nephew, D’Andre “D2” Reese Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memory: a son, Messiah Sumpter; loving parents, Tameka and Tyrone Sumpter; sisters, Jer’Mya Lee, Mar’Rya Lee, Tytiana Sumpter, Sha’Mya Sumpter and Tajai Sumpter; brothers, Tyrone Sumpter, Jr., Mekhi Sumpter and Ihkem Sumpter; dear friend, Darius Wormley; best friend, Ja’Brian “JB” Davis; and a host of loving cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
