Jimmy L. Clark known as “Papo” was born June 9, 1936, in West Texas, the son of Greene and Creacy Clark.
Jimmy was raised in Waco, Texas and graduated from AJ Moore High School, Class of 1953.
Following graduation, he served with the U.S. Army from 1954 through 1959. While Serving he met and married his Late Wife, Eleonore Feser. After leaving the service, they Settled in Anchorage, Alaska.
He retired from the USPS in 1991 after 31 years of service and returned to Waco, Texas for 10 years after retirement. Alaska called them back and they returned to Anchorage in 2001; they Celebrated 56 years of marriage (1957-2013). Following the passing of Eleonore, Jimmy met his current wife, Ada Gamble; they settled in Hewitt, Texas and celebrated 6 years of marriage (2014-Current).
His hobbies were fishing, camping, yard, garden care, boating and western movies.
He passed away on December 17, 2020, at Baylor Scott and White Hillcrest Hospital.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his late wife, Eleonore Clark; one brother, Charles Clark, and two sisters, Carol Thornton and Agnes Baker.
He leaves to cherish: his wife, Ada Gamble Clark; daughter, Tanya Boehm (Dudley); stepson, Patrick Porter (Samantha); grandchildren, Justin Larrabee (Cassie), Jamie Larrabee (Shelby) and Jessica Davis (Roman); brother, William Clark; sisters, Mary Stroud (Johnny), Laura Earl and Christine Banks; great-grandchildren, Zachary Larsen, Brian Larrabee, Chevelle Larrabee, Peyton Larrabee, Journey Larrabee and Banner Larrabee; many nieces and nephews, step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren, many loving friends in Alaska, California, and Texas.
