James McVea

James McVea was born on August 28, 1963, to James and Joyce McVea.

He received his formal education in the Waco Independent School District and graduated from Waco High School.

He saw the good in everyone he came in contact with and showed kindness to all. James loved to spend time with family and friends. He also enjoyed fishing and loved celebrating the 4th of July.

He was called to eternal rest on Sunday, July 24, 2022.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving wife, Gloria Hickman McVea; children, Erica McVea and Eric McVea; stepchildren, Jankenji Cleveland, Steve Cleveland and Jelisa Forcey; father, James McVea; siblings, Scharrell Bibbs and Virginia Vincent; host of grandchildren, devoted brother-in-law, Jerry Hickman (Angela); and a host of other relatives and friends.
