Eula Mae Alexander was born June 19, 1932 in Waco, Texas to the late Nolan Jones Sr. and Eula Jones. She is the first of eight children. She attended public school in McLennan County.
She absolutely loved cooking. She loved cooking for her family. She became a nurse after school where she worked until she retired in 2007. She then moved back to Waco, Texas from San Diego, California where she became a member of True Vine Worship Center.
She loved all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved to watch kids. Eula Mae would always say, “I’m just like my mama!” Ms. Eula was the life of the party and the key to the soul. Ms. Eula Mae loved to watch “MSNBC” on TV. Ms. Eula loved her dog named “Tiger.” She would argue with him like a human and her company keeper. Ms. Eula would always say, “I got him timed.” Ms. Eula Mae Alexander will be greatly missed.
Eula Mae Alexander passed away May 1, 2022, in Waco, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nolan Jones Sr. and Eula Jones; husband, Clarence B. Alexander; sons, Odell Simmons III and Rickey Redrick; daughter, Vickey Lynn Redrick (Red); grandsons, Tyron Burr and Lyndemian (Mann) McMillon; granddaughter, Tonia Burr Pimpton; brothers, Herman Jones, Nolan Jones Jr., Cornelius Jones and sisters, Martha Sue Hollis and Josie Lee Ray.
Eula Mae leaves to cherish: a daughter, Dominique Alexander; grandson, Antonio Gravely; sister, Gladys Simmons; brother, Melvin Hibbler; and a host of loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
