Doris Prather

Doris Jo Prather was born on March 31, 1941, to the late Lucy M. King and Joe Prather.

She attended Waco Independent School District.

She worked as a private sitter for the elderly which she enjoyed doing until her health failed. She also loved to decorate.

She will be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lucy M. King and Joe Prather, daughter, Terri L. Prather, grandson, Dexter L. Prather; brothers, Willie C. Terrell, L.C. Terrell Jr. and Ruben Terrell; sister, Ruthie N. Ford Terrell and a son-in-law, Dean O. Brown.

She leaves to cherish her memories: two daughters, Debra K. Brown and Shannon Smith; grandchildren, Tiffany B. Isaacs (Addison) and Djuandrae Powell; brother, Darryl W. Terrell; great-grandchildren, Oliver Isaacs and Gabriella Isaacs; two nieces, Kim Terrell and Tamara Smith; one nephew, L.C. Jones; seven great-nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
