Delores Moon

Delores Jean Johnson Moon was born on February 2, 1945 to Rufus and Odessa Johnson in Waco, Texas.

She attended Waco Independent School District, graduating from A.J. Moore High in 1964.

Delores met the love of her life, Arthur B. Moon, on a blind date on January 20, 1968, they were married and to this beautiful union three children were born, Gary, Vonda, and Toshua. 

She was employed with at Allergan, Headstart corporations, K-mart, and Connally Independent School District.

Delores never met a stranger and she enjoyed an active life with traveling, get togethers, spending time with family and friends. 

Delores accepted Christ at an early age and actively served 34 years, until her health failed.

Delores is preceded in death by her husband, parents, two brothers and one grandchild.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, three loving and devoted children, Gary Moon, Vonda Moon-Cummings and Toshua Moon all of Waco, Texas; 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 2 sisters, and 3 brothers; and a host of family and friends.
