Bettie Brown

Bettie Jean Brown known as “Bettie Bo” was born on October 29, 1942, to the parentage of George and Selena Brown. in Baton Rouge, LA. She was an only child.

Bettie attended school in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and she graduated from McKinnley High School in 1961.

At the age of 26, Bettie relocated to Waco, Texas in 1969 and made it her hometown.

Bettie enjoyed homemaking, cooking, meeting different people and a had passion for shopping. Although she had no family in Waco she never met a stranger.

Bettie departed this life on September 1, 2021.

Bettie is survived by: two devoted friends, Darrell Satchell and LJ Long and host of other friends.
