Alma Britt
Obituary
Alma L. Britt was born September 8, 1919 in Waco, Texas to Corine and Albert Johnson. She was the second child of eleven children born into this union. Nine of her siblings have preceded her in death.
Alma graduated from A.J. Moore High School and worked as an aide at several schools.
Alma joined Second Missionary Baptist Church at an early age where she remained a devoted member. She was an usher, choir member, and choir secretary, as well as worked with Junior Mission and Vacation Bible School.
Her parents, her husband, Walter Britt, sons, Floyd and Lloyd, as well as one granddaughter, have all preceded her in death.
Mrs. Alma L. Britt departed from this life on May 23, 2022.
She leaves to cherish her memory: sisters, Darcus Galloway and Doris L. Jordan (Robert); three grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and devoted friends.
