Albert Wayne Smith was born on November 13, 1950, to John T. Smith II and Bennie Kelly Smith in Waco, Texas.
He was sprinkled into the body of Christ at St. Paul A.M.E. Church at an early age.
He was in the first class to start and finish at G.W. Carver High School in 1970. Albert Wayne continued his education at MCC and transferred to Baylor University and finished with a degree in Mathematics, Chemistry, and Environmental Science.
Albert accepted Christ and was baptized at Highland Baptist Church.
He worked for Waco Mars Candy Company in the computer department and later moved to production and retired after 30 years of service. H&R Block became his retirement job, enjoying the people and the members.
He had a strong passion for all printed material but a love for comic books, baseball cards, and astronomy.
He met and married Priscilla Ann Smith in June 1980, and to this union, Albert Dwayne Smith was born, a beloved son who preceded in him death.
Albert leaves to cherish: his wife, Priscilla Ann Smith; two sisters, Vashon Howlett (Artie) and Fredna S. White (Joe Brooks); two brothers, John T. Smith III (Robbie) and Frederick Arthur Smith (Linda); and host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
