Adell Shepherd

Adell McGuire Shepherd was born March 11, 1941, to George and Mandy McGuire in Fairfield, Texas.

She attended and graduated from Fairfield High School. She worked for Park Plaza Nursing Home for 37 years.

Adell enjoyed cooking, sewing, singing, and taking care of family and friends.

She passed away on July 12, 2021 at Providence Hospital. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, two brothers, one grandchild and two great-grandchildren.

Adell is survived by: her husband, David Shephard; children, Bobby Shepherd (Dolly), Barbara Dill, Dorita Phillips (Earl), David Shepherd (Helena), Marie Shepherd, John Shepherd (Wendy) and Jerry Shepherd (Stephaine), brothers, Andrew McGuire, Mack McGuire, Turman McGuire, Raymond McGuire, and Sammy McGuire, 24 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
