Eddie Haliburton Obituary

Eddie Roy Haliburton, born to Raymond George Haliburton Sr. and Louise Haliburton on May 20,1950.

He attended Carver High School and extended his education by entering the Job Corp in 1969. He learned and pursued the field of auto repair until he was no longer able to do so.

He lived in Austin, Texas for a while and moved to Houston, Texas in 2005, where he spent the remainder of his life.

Despite personal struggles, Eddie fought a fine fight because he loved life. He enjoyed playing dominoes, cards and picnics in the park with family.

Eddie loved people and no matter where he was, he would greet them with a smile. He also loved music, dancing and very family originated.

Eddie studied the bible with his sister and understood from the Bible that Jesus Christ was the son of the true God Jehovah. (Psalm 83:18) He would always say “bring me one of those magazines.” He also learned of the promise of a Paradise earth where there will be no more sickness, dying or pain in Rev:21:3-4.

Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond George “RG” Haliburton Sr.; and Louise Haliburton; two brothers, Raymond G. Haliburton Jr. and James H. Haliburton and a sister, Betty J. Wills.

He leaves behind embracing his memory, brothers, Maurice Haliburton and Donald (Elizabeth) Haliburton all of  Waco, Texas; and Albert Haliburton (Jackie) of Houston, Texas; sisters, Vicky Love (James) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Dorothy Henderson (Gene), Shandra Franks (Douglas), Pauline Walker (Percy) and Pearlie Woodard (Floyd) all of Houston, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and cousins.
