Don Terry Evans Sr.

Don Terry Evans Sr. was born October 4, 1941, to parentage of Augustine Evans and Bernice Young Evans.  Don who was affectionate nicknamed “Alley Cat” was the seventh child of twelve children. 

He loved travailing and having fun with family. Don received early education at Downsville and AJ Moore High School.

He met Jo Ann Connor and joined in holy matrimony and their union was blessed with two children, Paris Evans and Don Terry Evans Jr.

Don join the United States Marine Corp. March 3, 1968 and end his tour of duty January 19,1970. He earned a Good Conduct Medal on November 3, 1969.

Don was precede in death by his beloved parents, Augustine Evans and Bernice Young Evans and siblings, Gustine Evans Hill, Augustine Evans Jr., Nora Evans, Marie Evans Sewell, Mary Ann Evans Connor, Sherman Evans, Betty Jo Evans Davis, Raymond Evans and Jessie Evans.

Don leaves to cherish his precious memory, Paris Evans of San Francisco, California and Don Evans of Dallas, Texas; two brothers, Melvin Evans and Rader Evans (Darlene); one sister, Chrisella Evans Collins (Limmie); brother-in-law, Willie Connor; sister-in-law, Thelma Evans; and host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
